The S. Ford Foundation for Animals In addition to the design & production of The Foundation's print materials,  I also designed
and maintain the website for
this San Diego shelter pet rescue foundation. I design all the materials
for individual fundraisers, from wine dinners to golf tournaments. It is by far the most rewarding work I do pro bono, as this organization spends ZERO
of their funds on overhead. Designing under such budget constraints can at
times be a challenge, especially when it comes to getting things printed...but
it's worth it 'cause I love pooches, and the vets and volunteers I work with
are pretty cool too. This organization takes animals from shelters/animal
control that are in line to be euthanized due to health problems that are
treatable. Many local shelters lack the funds and resources to rehabilitate these pets that have typically minor conditions. Adopt a Rescue |
