Professional Script Fonts

Been limited to free script fonts? You may already know that really good, well-structured, and affordable ones hard to find. Most of the freebies out there are either too unreadable, poorly executed (as in having to go in and track/kern where the metrics of certain characters in the font file weren’t set properly) or you’ve just seen them used way too much. One example is Scriptina. Sure, it’s pretty, but I see it everywhere. Enough already.

I believe acquiring at least a base set of fully-paid for, high-end professional fonts from actual foundries is just as essential as owning licensed, legit Creative Suite software. But just like Creative Suite, the hard part is the cost. So I’m recommending shopping on Veer for some good quality fonts. Since well-done script & gestural typefaces are the hardest to find, here are my favorites on Veer.
